The Tragically Dipped is back, and this time it came back stuffed. Maple cookie dough made with real maple syrup, a housemade pecan butter centre, and a maple glaze any donut shop would kill to have. I wanted this one to be special, and I think I nailed it.
Crispy edges, soft in the middle, and so maple-y it should come with a toque (it doesn't...but it should) and a strong opinion about the Leafs. Not subtle. Not trying to be. Just a maple cookie doing what it does best...making you feel like fall in Ontario, one bite at a time.
Some cookies deserve a comeback. This is one of them.
