The Childhood Dream started with the two things my mom made that I loved most: her chocolate chip cookies and her brownies. I could never pick a favourite, so I stopped trying and put them together.
A thick, fudgy dark chocolate brownie on the bottom, topped with my M.O.M. chocolate chip cookie dough and baked until the cookie is golden and the brownie stays dense and fudgy in the middle.
It's rich. It's ridiculous. It's every kid's dream dessert, all grown up. You're welcome.
